Cancellation Policy
If you (the host) cancel the culinary event before the final payment is made, then you (the host) forfeit only your non-refundable deposit. If you cancel your event after the final payment is made, there are no money refunds.
If there are severe road conditions, snow, ice or accessibility issues that would keep French Magnolia employees from reaching the event destinations, your culinary event is automatically cancelled. And there are no refunds. If any roads are closed leading to your home or rental property, then your event is also automatically cancelled.
If you see that severe weather is going to hit the area where your event is taking place, you may move your event to another town. An additional travel fee may be applied, but you will not lose your culinary event.
If we (the company) have to cancel:
If we (the company) must cancel for any reason, then we (the company) will pay for the food to be re-purchased and re-prepped. We (the company) will come to a location of your choosing within 90 days (from your event) to execute your culinary event. We must have the date available. Also, we must be able to travel to this location by car within 6 hours. We (the company) will make every effort to re-schedule your culinary event within 90 days, given our availability.
ADDITIONAL POLICY INFO:
We are a luxury brand and your experience is important to us. In order for us to complete the task that is set before us, you must meet the following requirements:
1. We MUST have a working stove, a working oven, a working sink with running water and a working standard-size refrigerator available for our use. It doesn’t have to be fancy equipment, but it must be in good working order. If your rental property does not have a working stove and oven then we will not be able to execute your culinary event and we will not be coming to your home.
2. We must have a dining table space to accommodate all of your guests comfortably and a dining chair for each guest. We include a very elaborate & beautiful table set-up, but we must have table space and a dining chair for each guest. If you feel that your home or rental property will not accommodate the number of guests, we can have tables & chairs delivered to your personal home or rental property.
3. Please consider travel conditions for your guests and for your cheffing company. If you are renting a house on top of a mountain in the dead of winter, there is a chance that we (the cheffing company) will not be able to access your house due to snow, ice, severe weather or flooding (due to burst pipes). We strongly encourage you to follow to weather channel and plan accordingly.
4. Please consider your attititde towards us and our staff. If you are verbally rude and/or absuive in any way, shape, form or fashion – either verabally or physically – then we reserve the right to fire you as a client. Your event will be immediatly cancelled and/or aborted. Furthermore, you will not be allowed to book with us in the future.
5. When you pay your deposit and balace, you are agreeing to these business policies and procedures.
